Unforgettable Nights: 6 of the hottest locations in Tel Aviv

For sure you'll start your evening at the NYX bar, but what happens when you venture beyond NYX? Discover your perfect location for an unforgettable night full of experiences.

Of course, you’ll start the evening at the NYX bar, but what about when you venture beyond NYX? Discover the perfect locations for a night full of unforgettable experiences.

You started the evening at the NYX bar at NYX with a few cocktails and finger-food that whetted your appetite for a long and fascinating evening, but where do we go next? The hotel’s central location, close to all of Tel Aviv’s hottest nightlife, makes it easy for everyone to find their niche and an evening full of experiences.

Whether you’re in the mood for a particularly sexy and daring evening, or you feel like going on to an electro-funk party till dawn – you have the hottest locations to choose from just a short walk from the hotel.

For Clubbers – The Complex (formerly Beit Ma’ariv)
When former “Artist 17” clubbers and party-goers from “clique” and “Avadon” decided to test the limits of Tel Aviv night life, the city’s hot new club was established. Located in the historic building formerly housing the “Ma’ariv” newspaper and originally slated for demolition, the new Complex exudes a rather eclectic vibe. Besides the prominent DJs from Israel and abroad, at Beit Ma’ariv you’ll find techno and house parties on the weekend, and can enjoy parties, performances and launches the rest of the week.

For the Daring – Dungeon Club
We didn’t write for ‘the daring’ for nothing – if naked bottoms and bondage alarm you, skip this and continue to the location below. At Dungeon, a Tel Aviv institution that recently celebrated 14 years, you can find this and much more. From muscular and tanned performers who look as if they’ve walked off the set of Game of Thrones to “the Labyrinth”, it’s the place where you can maintain sexual acts in front of everyone, together with the partner with whom you arrived (entrance to the labyrinth is permitted only with a partner) or join the trio / quartet / all another combination on your mind.
The biggest advantage? The place is free of lowlifes or sexual harassment, thanks to the security and very strict rules. Dress code: black! Also latex, leather or black straps that barely covering anything!

The Dungeon, Sharon 21, Tel Aviv
Thursdays and Fridays, 23:30-05:00

For those who like it hot – Speakeasy
Without a doubt, this is hottest location in town. From supermodel Bar Rafaeli, to football and basketball players and celebrities of Tel Aviv’s nightlife scene – Speakeasy is the place to see and be seen. The prices match, but don’t worry – entrance is by invite only so you need to know the right people to get in thanks to the club’s very tight guest screening.
Why would you like to tick this one off your list? Apart from the crowd, Speakeasy enjoys an impressive location in a hot spot on the corner of Rothschild and Nahalat Binyamin on the rooftop bar of “Jimmy Ho”, something resembling the rooftops in the meatpacking district of Chelsea.
Dress code? European, trendy and sleek.

For Graduates – Aria
Upon entering Aria you’ll appreciate how much thought has gone into every detail. On the first floor, you will find an austere cocktail bar, decorated in a classic yet chic style. The dress code and the crowd match – people who’ve graduated from the hardcore, pick-up scene and now want to spend a pleasant, relaxed evening with their partner or friends without being bothered. Asides from drinks aged on the premises and a very talented team of bartenders, at the Aria bar you’ll find a menu of specially composed chef dishes, small enough to be eaten as a snack with your drink. If in the course of the evening you get the urge for a more serious meal, you can always go up to the second floor where you will find the restaurant of chef Guy Gamzu.

For Hipsters – Otsar Bar
Otsar Bar AKA “Tel Aviv’s hipster stronghold”, is home to the hottest alternative scene of the city’s nightlife. Located just between “Port Said” and “Santa Katraina”, at the Otsar bar, established on the ruins of Har Sinai Great Synagogue plaza, you will find a chilled, cosy atmosphere that’s trashy in its own way. The interior is designed so as not to disconnect the large plaza from those sitting outside, and it is evident that much thought has gone into its design in order to create an easy-going club atmosphere with an emphasis on great sound quality.

For Artistes – Kuli Alma
One of Tel Aviv’s hottest and most sought after hot spots. At Kuli Alma you’ll find an especially large complex consisting of 3 spaces that allow everyone to find their niche – the upper, quieter space, the art bar decorated with a variety of artworks and which often hosts exhibitions of young artists, and the inner, livelier bar. What makes Kuli Alma so successful and appealing is its chilled atmosphere, upbeat crowd (mostly students), and its friendly and non-judgmental vibe – a rare phenomenon in Tel Aviv.
